GRATEFUL TRIO
This note, a beautiful trio of the sorority’s flower, is inspired by the poem “Violets” Written by Dr. Marie L. Johnson, a longtime member and past president of the Hartford Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This poem describes the character, vulnerability, and beauty of the violet flower. Like the flower, Deltas are gregarious and always grateful.
