HARTFORD ALUMNAE | DELTA SIGMA THETA
This special note is dedicated to the beautiful sorors of the Hartford Alumnae Chapter located in Hartford, Connecticut. Chartered by 13 visionary women on June 14, 1947, this chapter has been a driving force in the Greater Hartford area. With over 100 members, it provides programming that enlightens, engages, and educates the community. It's annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast, now in its 38th year, has raised over $300,000 in scholarship funds for deserving African American, female high school seniors. The breakfast is the premier scholarship fundraising event for the Hartford Alumnae Chapter and one of the largest Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations in Connecticut.
